  • Aleksandar Markovic was born on April 15, 1987 in Tuzla, Bosnia and Herzegovina. In 2010, he graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts from the University of Mostar. In 2013, he graduated with a Master's degree in Fine Arts and received the title of Academic Painter and Art Teacher from ARS SACRA of the Academy of Fine Arts in Široki Brijeg.

    During his studies he was actively engaged in painting, professional photography and installation.

    To date, he has participated in over 70 collective art exhibitions in various European countries. In addition, he has also held several solo exhibitions, all of which are clearly listed in the description below. He is a member of the Association of Fine Arts of Tuzla Canton, the Association of Fine Arts of Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as the "Lucido Art Group", the "Art Innovation Gallery" in Innsbruck and the "Tiroler Klünstlerschaft". He has gained experience as an artist and professor in the USA.

  • “By chance I came to Innsbruck and decided to stay here. The place attracted me with its tranquility and inspiring environment, and I feel that I can really grow as an artist and develop my works here. The perfect combination of inspiration and practicality made me decide to settle here. A strong interest in movement, action and dynamism is evident in my paintings, which I continue to perfect with each work.”

  • - In 2005, the artist graduated from the Gymnasium of the Catholic School Center "St. Francis" in Tuzla. In the same year he enrolled at the Academy of Fine Arts in Široki Brijek at the University of Mostar, Bosnia and Herzegovina.

    - Participated in the International Student Rectors Conference in Ljubljana, Slovenia in 2010.

    - In June 2010, he graduated in painting and earned the title of Master of Fine Arts - Academic Painter and Professor of Art.

    - A month late, he enrolled in the ARS SACRA postgraduate program at the Academy of Fine Arts in Široki Brijeg and earned the Master's degree in June 2013.
