Aleksandar Markovic wurde am 15. April 1987 in Tuzla, Bosnien und Herzegowina, geboren. Im Jahr 2010 machte er seinen Bachelor-Abschluss in Bildender Kunst an der Universität von Mostar. Im Jahr 2013 schloss er sein Studium der bildenden Künste mit dem Master ab und erhielt den Titel Akademischer Maler und Kunstlehrer von der ARS SACRA der Akademie der bildenden Künste in Široki Brijeg.
Während seiner Studienzeit beschäftigte er sich aktiv mit Malerei, professioneller Fotografie und Installation.

Bis heute hat er an über 70 kollektiven Kunstausstellungen in verschiedenen europäischen Ländern teilgenommen. Darüber hinaus hat er auch mehrere Einzelausstellungen durchgeführt, welche alle übersichtlich in der Beschreibung unten aufgelistet werden. Er ist Mitglied des Verbandes der Bildenden Künste des Kantons Tuzla, des Verbandes der Bildenden Künste von Bosnien und Herzegowina sowie der "Lucido Art Group", der "Art Innovation Gallery" in Innsbruck und der "Tiroler Klünstlerschaft". Er hat Erfahrungen als Künstler und Professor in den USA gesammelt.

Aleksandar ist nicht nur Mitglied mehrerer Organisationen, sondern hat auch mehrere Auszeichnungen erhalten, darunter den Preis des Rektors der Universität Mostar für das akademische Jahr 2006-07, den Ankaufspreis für Malerei beim Wettbewerb des Bundesministeriums für Kultur für Studenten der Akademie der Bildenden Künste in Bosnien und Herzegowina im Jahr 2008 und den ersten Ankaufspreis für Malerei des Ministeriums beim Wettbewerb für Studenten der Akademie der Bildenden Künste in Bosnien und Herzegowina im Jahr 2009.

Von 2012 bis 2014 war er als Kunstprofessor im Schulzentrum St. Franziskus tätig. Aleksandar lebt und arbeitet derzeit als freischaffender Künstler in Innsbruck, Österreich. Seine Werke befinden sich in privaten und öffentlichen Sammlungen auf der ganzen Welt, darunter in Palm Beach (Florida), Las Vegas (Nevada), Wien (Österreich), Savanah (USA), Bahrain, Heidelberg (Deutschland) und Dubrovnik (Kroatien, Italien)...

Aleksandar Markovic was born on April 15th, 1987 in Tuzla, Bosnia and Herzegovina. In 2010, he earned his bachelor's degree in Fine Arts from the University of Mostar. In 2013, egraduated with his master's degree in fine arts and earned the title Academic Painter and Art Teacher from the ARS SACRA of Academy of Fine Arts in Široki Brijeg.

During his college years, he was actively engaged in Painting, Professional Photography and Installation.

To date, he has participated in over 70 Collective Art Exhibitions in countries across Europe. In addition, he also held several individual exhibitions in several of those countries. He is a member of the Association of Fine Arts in Tuzla Canton, the Association of Fine Arts of Bosnia and Herzegovina and "Lucido Art Group", "Art Innovation Gallery" in Innsbruck, and "Tiroler Klünstlerschaft". He had experience working as an artist and professor in the USA.

In addition to being a member of several organizations, Aleksandar was the winner of several awards, including the Rector's award of the University in Mostar for academic year 2006-07, the Purchase Award winner for painting at the competition of the Federal Ministry of Culture for students of the Academy of Fine Arts in Bosnia and Herzegovina, in 2008; and the First Purchase award for painting of the Ministry at the competition for student of Academy of Fine Arts in Bosnia and Herzegovina, in 2009.

He was working as a professor of art in Saint Francis school centre from 2012 until 2014.Aleksandar currently lives and works in Innsbruck, Austria as freelance artist. His works are in private and public collections around the world including, Palm Beach, Florida, Las Vegas, Nevada, Vienna, Austria, Savanah (USA), Bahrain, Heidelberg, Germany and Dubrovnik, Croatia, Italy…

- Im Jahr 2005 machte der Künstler seinen Abschluss am Gymnasium des katholischen Schulzentrums "St. Francis" in Tuzla. Im selben Jahr schrieb er sich an der Akademie der Schönen Künste in Široki Brijek an der Universität von Mostar, Bosnien und Herzegowina, ein.
- Teilnehmer an der internationalen Studentenrektorenkonferenz in Ljubljana (Slowenien) im Jahr 2010.
- Im Juni 2010 schloss er sein Studium der Malerei ab und erwarb den Titel Master of Fine Arts - Akademischer Maler und Kunstprofessor.
- Mit einem Monat Verspätung schrieb er sich für das Postgraduiertenstudium ARS SACRA an der Akademie der Schönen Künste in Široki Brijeg ein und erwarb im Juni 2013 den Mastertitel.

"Ich kam zufälligerweise nach Innsbruck und bin dann hier geblieben. Ich hatte das Gefühl einen schönen Ort gefunden zu haben wo ich in Ruhe an meinen Werken arbeiten kann und mich als Künstler weiterbilden kann.
