  • Val Wecerka's works are influenced by her personal biographical experiences, especially her time as a young artist in Vienna. The loneliness and isolation she experienced during this time led her to begin using letters as a structural template for her early works. These letters served as the basis for her art and inspired her to search for people who had suffered similar blows of fate. Val Wecerka wanted to show the communication of these people in the form of art objects and create a connection between them.

Over time, Val Wecerka has continued to develop her unique style, enriching her artwork with memories from the past. Repetition plays a significant role in her works. By repeatedly arranging shapes and lines, she creates a visual illusion that captivates the viewer. Each work tells its own story and reveals a different facet of Val Wecerka's artistic journey

  • “My goal with my works is to create an illusion on a surface or canvas. I strive to take the viewer into a world where he can dive into the infinite depth of my works. My artworks are a reflection of my soul and an expression of my deepest emotions.”
