Description: The painting "Figure XX" is one of the most important works of the series "Figures" by Iryna Depko. As one of the latest paintings of the Ukrainian artist, it fascinates with its unusual composition: the depicted female figure is not seen in the usual sitting position, but lies in a completely abstract space, which directs the focus to the aesthetics and the pose of the figure. The viewer seems to take a bird's eye view and witnesses a possibly sleeping person. Particularly noteworthy in this work are the colors, in which shades of blue and purple are harmoniously combined and contrast clearly with the figure.

The depicted woman in the window sill, gazing into the depths of the night landscape, conveys to the viewer an atmosphere of relaxation and harmony. The skillful play with strong colors and their carefully selected combination emphasizes the peacefulness and tranquility expressed in this work.
