Description: The painting "Liebevoll umhegt" is part of the series "Silent Place", in which Kolev painted the four seasons of the Melk Abbey Park. The result of his four-year work on this project was an exhibition of over 100 paintings, which Kolev subsequently exhibited at Melk Abbey. During his work, the artist was fascinated by the insane silence and meditative atmosphere of the place. It was precisely this perception that was even more intensified for Kolev in the winter, as the park was closed to visitors. He could move completely freely and let the silence flow into his work.
