Born and raised in Bulgaria, the artist studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna. First in the master class of Johannis Avramidis and then Michelangelo Pistoletto. In 1998 he completed his art studies with a master's degree and moved to Uppsala/Sweden, where he lived and worked until 2012.
During this time, his works, some of which won awards, were part of numerous exhibitions in Scandinavia, Europe and the USA.
In the summer of 2012, the artist moved back to Austria. Until 2019, he actively worked with the international artist symposium "Atelier an der Donau" in Pöchlarn / Ybbs and "Atelier KREATIV-LEBEN" in Melk. Since 2019 he lives and works in St. Pölten.
Fascinated, he always goes on a journey of discovery through the human condition and nature. His versatile art is an interpretation of his intense perception.
Krasimir's works are in the "LexikonSurreal", the International Phantasten Museum in Vienna, the Fundació de les Arts i els Artistes - Museu Europeu d'Art Modern, Barcelona, The Portrait Collection of Uppsala University, Sweden, Hadwiger Collection, Austria, Adjara Museum of Art, Batumi, Georgia, The Art Collection of Huawei in Hong Kong, China and in many private collections around the world.

“I love the process of perception, the path of discovery of simple things during creation, the state of meditation.
Most of my work is self-biographical. I am constantly reflecting myself in my works. Almost everything I do goes through the filter of my own experience, my feelings and the way I am in that particular moment.
My biggest fascination is people. I look for the human presence or absence in my work. I am constantly moving between expressive figurations and expressive abstractions. I see the human body as a canvas on which the soul paints its own stories. My role as an artist is to discover and interpret these stories.
But the most important thing for me is the process between the impression and the expression of what is there in me, from the moment I get the idea to the finished work of art.”
